WAKEFIELD Wildcats have made their first signing of the off-season with former Belle Vue favourite Steve Snitch returning to the club.
The 24-year-old second rower began his professional career at Wakefield in 2002 before joining the Huddersfield Giants in 2006.

Snitch, who has made more than 120 Super League appearances, has signed a two-year contract at Belle Vue.

Wildcats' head coach John Kear said: "Steve is another great addition to our squad and will add strength in depth.

"He's got plenty of experience playing Super League and we're looking forward to having him at the club."

Kear has told the Wakefield Express that he intends to sign two players during the close season and Snitch's arrival could be quickly followed by a second signing this week.
