Live At Leeds expands further

ORGANISERS of the expanded Live At Leeds festival have revealed a second wave of names to appear at this year’s event.

Top indie band The Enemy are now included in the line-up along with rising stars Spector, Ghostpoet, Scroobius Pip, Lianne La Havas, Chew Lips, Jess Mills and Stooshie.

They have been added to a bill that already included Marina and the Diamonds, Los Campesinos!, The Subways, Ladyhawke and Reverend and the Makers with the event taking place across the city from Friday, May 4 to Sunday, May 6.

The sixth Live At Leeds is shaping up to be the biggest yet and will see national names joining forces with local favourites in a huge programme of gigs and music inspired events taking place at a number of venues in Leeds over the three days.

In all more than 100 bands will play across nine venues, all of which are accessible via the a special Live at Leeds festival wristband.

There is also a separate ticketed event headlined by Example, with support from Wretch 32, at Leeds Millennium Square on Saturday, May 5.

Added to the original list of bands announced are: Bastille, Bears Killing Bears, Bearfoot Beware, Being There, Blacklisters, Black Moth, Broken Hands, Cave Birds, China Rats, Dead Sons, Deaf Club, Dear Prudence, Devin, Dog Is Dead, Eagulls, Ellen and the Escapades, Escapists, EJ, Eyes On Films, Folks, Fossil Collective, Fran Rodgers, Francesca Pidgeon, Gabriel Bruce, Garnets, Grant K Fenell, Hey Sholay, Hooded Fang, Housekeeping Society, ICS, Jakwob, Jaymz Dean, Josh Kumra, Karima Francis, Karin Park, Lucy Rose, Lunchtime Disco Club, Money, Pale Seas, Postwar Glamour Girls, Rae Morris, Richard Parker, Riots, Riz MC, Rob Green, Runners, Rupert Stroud, Ryan Keen, Seas Of Green, Secret Sirens, Shields, Simon Pollard Band, Swiss Lips, Talk To Angels, Team Me, The Artists, The Chevin, The Finnlys, The Heartbreaks, The Mexanines, The Marsicans, The Night, Two Wounded Birds, Unions, Violet, We Are Augustines, Weird Dreams, White Arrows, Worship and Wot Gorilla?
