Nutty boys in town

legendary band Madness embark on their biggest UK arena tour to date later this year – stopping off at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena in December.

The tour will see the band showcase new tracks from their forthcoming album – the follow up to the critically acclaimed The Liberty of Norton Folgate – as well as playing all the hits and fan favourites.

Madness’ new tour follows their diamond jubilee appearance, playing on the roof of Buckingham Palace.

The tour starts in spectacular style at the Madness House of Fun Weekender – the Madness-curated festival, now becoming a staple part of the winter music scene.

They will play two live sets at the Nutty Weekend – the full bill is yet to be announced but will include genres from ska to reggae and electronica.

As well as musical entertainment, The House of Fun Weekender will host an eclectic mix of entertainment, including comedy, darts, musical bingo, silent disco and games.

The arena tour finale will be in the band’s hometown of London with the closing night at the O2.

Madness come to the Motorpoint Arena on Tuesday December 11, tickets costing £35 and £45 are on sale now, available from www.motorpointarenasheffield.co.uk or the box office on 0114 256 5656.
