Rob’s rocking tonight

THERE was only ever one King of Rock and Roll – or was there?

Well of course there was only one Elvis, despite many faux sightings of the King serving battered fish and in shopping malls across the US since his death in 1977, but there have been countless tribute acts determined to keep his music alive.

And Rob Kingsley can claim his right as heir apparent to the King’s throne.

Rob was crowned the 2008-09 Elvis European Champion.

His show, A Vision of Elvis, is touted as being just as good as the real thing, and Rob is even officially endorsed by Elvis Presley Enterprises (EPE) in Graceland, Memphis, Tennessee.

Featuring his very own The Cadillac’s Band with The Sweet Sensations they are promising an evening of all the classic hits from the early years.

The show stops off at Theatre Royal Wakefield on Friday, March 4.

Tickets cost £18, £16, £14 and are available from the box office on 01924 211 311 or visit www.theatre royalwakefield.co.uk
