SLIDESHOW - With Banners Held High

A festival to mark 30 years since the miners’ strike drew hundreds of people to Unity Hall in Wakefield on Saturday.

With Banners Held High saw music, drama and poetry staged at the hall, where National Union of Mineworkers banners were hung.

It was compered by writer Ian Clayton and included a speech by Dennis Skinner, the veteran Labour MP.
