Asda to cut petrol and diesel prices

Supermarket chain Asda is set to cut its prices for petrol and diesel.

Asda has announced a national price cap on fuel at its petrol stations which means drivers will pay no more than 124.7 pence per litre for unleaded and 128.7p for diesel.

New prices which take effect from Tuesday will see the cost of unleaded fall by up to 2p per litre and diesel by 1p per litre.
