Card Factory set to float on London Stock Exchange
Card Factory, based at Wakefield 41 Industrial Estate, is expected to raise £90m from issuing new shares to investors next month.
It is estimated that flotation will value the company, which grew from one store 17 years ago to 700 today, at around £800m.

Hide AdThe firm was set up by Dean Hoyle, who began selling cards from the back of his van and went on to sell the company for £350m to Charterhouse Capital in 2010.
Mr Hoyle also became chairman of Huddersfield Town FC.
The company’s latest results show it increase sales by 9 per cent to £326.9m
Card Factory, which has 6,500 UK staff, sold more than 285 million cards over the year - or 5.5m a week.
