Jack's supermarket donates supplies and essentials to Wakefield care home

Jack's supermarket has kindly donated cleaning supplies and other general essentials to a Wakefield care home.

The Ings Road store has given cleaning supplies and other general essentials to West Ridings Nursing Home on Off Lingwell Gate Lane along with a £50 voucher from Jack's to help fund any other necessities they're in need of.

Jack's is highly involved with charity work in Wakefield, currently offering £500 grants to charities and organisations who have helped with the Covid-19 relief efforts as well as collecting donations at the front of the store for Trussell Trust.

Michael Ward, store manager at Jack's Wakefield, said: "We're very happy to be able to help members of the community, especially those who are vulnerable, and for their carers who work tirelessly looking after our loved ones.

"I’m proud of Jack’s and all of our colleagues for their efforts, especially over the last few weeks."
