Plans to convert city guest house into children's home

An application has been submitted to the planning department to convert the property, which is Stanley View Guest House and sits from 226 to 230 Stanley Road.

The sketches show eight en-suite bedrooms, lounges, a dining room, kitchen and sensory room over three floors.

The plans have been submitted by the Doncaster-based, The Hesley Group, which is a specialist provider for young people and adults with autism and other complex needs.

A decision on the plans will be made at a later date.
