The school has put together an informative video, where pupils themselves share what it's like to be back at school with all the new rules.

Headteacher Michelle Cunnington said the video was made as she didn't want children and parents to worry over the summer holidays.

She said: "I felt that I needed to show them what school life is like and what it might be like in September."

And the video, produced by Alex and Robin Bennett from Creative-Photography, will surely put a lot of minds at ease.

The school remained open throughout lockdown for a small group of children and extended that to Year 6 pupils. The plan now is to introduce further groups of children back.

And to share those plans, it's the children who take the lead in the video, showing their fellow pupils - and their parents - some of the changes.

From markers to stand on while waiting to go inside, a one-way system and pupil temperature checks to the washing of hands and equipment and playtime with friends.

Pupils say how at playtimes they go outside with their friends to play and can still play football, but now with their own, socially distanced rules.

Pupils also talk about some of their worries and concerns before going back to school and even with the changes, they are very happy to be back with their friends and are used to their new routine.
