Staff at the site said they were "delighted" and "privileged" to begin offering vaccines to the district's most vulnerable residents.
Linda and Richard Poskitt from Knottingley were among the first to be vaccinated at the centre.
People in priority groups who live within 45 minutes of the centres will be able to book their vaccination at the site after reviving an invitation from the NHS, though can also wait to receive an invitation from their GP practice or other vaccination centre if they prefer.
