Simon Haywood started his run earlier this morning, running around the perimeter of Wakefield prison - over 42 miles - whilst being cheered on by colleagues.

His wife, Caroline, said: "He's been running for six hours now and for the last hour he's been dressed as a shark - just for fun."

Caroline said Simon had sent her a message saying 'Six hours, 42.3miles - loads of support from the staff. Brilliant!"

All money raised will be donated to the NHS Charities Together.
