On September 26, participants will set off from Horton-in-Ribblesdale on the 26 mile hike. First ascending Pen-y-Ghent and then descending down to Ribblehead viaduct.

From there it's a steep climb up Whernside, the highest peak of the three before finally tackling the last peak, Ingleborough. The aim is to complete all this in 12 hours.

Talking about the event, Fundraising Manager, Jill Kirkham said: "The event was a great success last year, and we're hoping to build on it this year. It is perfect for those itching to get out in the fresh air and those looking for a new challenge after the cancelation of the London Marathon and Great North Run.

"The views over the peaks are beautiful and are a welcome change to being at home during lock down. So get your hiking boots on and join us for this incredible challenge to raise vital funds for the hospice."
