That was the question we asked on our Facebook page and over 3,500 people responded, with the vast majority saying yes.

The government's vaccination program is gathering pace with thousands more receiving the jab every day and London is set to begin trialling 24-hour vaccination centres before the end of this month.

Professor Stephen Powis, the NHS national medical director for England, told Sky News the 24/7 pilot would be starting "within the next week or two".

The current 8am to 8pm vaccination times have been working for the over-80s, and some areas of the UK have managed to give out first jabs to the majority of this age group.

But as the vaccine is administered to younger age groups, the 24/7 centres will help ensure more people can get their jabs - especially when it comes to working age people.

Wendy Bray said: "Daft question....I'd have it if I was asked to swing upside down under a lamppost to get it! ( And it won't even work terribly well in my immuno-compromised system.) But for goodness sake, why wouldn't you have it?!"

Fiona Denning said: "Appointments at night are very helpful for us NHS staff and all those working shifts or key workers who can’t get there in the day."

Sarah Stafford said: "Any day and any time... Give the vaccine to more vulnerable in the day and then those that can be flexible can have it at night."

Moira Bashforth said: "I will definitely have it am more frightened of getting covid than the vaccination, it's up to every individual, but surely people scare mongering do more harm than good ,everytime I have my flu jab i am unwell for a few days and it doesn't stop me having it,so i am prepared for the vaccination. By the way my 91yr old mum had hers last wk and she is fine."

Lindsey Barszczak said: "Yes, the quicker we can get back to normal the better!! There should be a standby list where you can get called up to get it rather than being wasted."

Daniel Whitworth said: "I would get up at 4am and queue for as many hours as it takes to get back to some sort of normality."
