People visited their relatives in the car park at The Sycamores care home in Wakefield for a socially distanced "hello".

Steve Hague, home manager at The Sycamores, said: “Our residents have been under lockdown for eleven weeks and we thought it would be a great idea to surprise them and get as many loved ones to come along and say hello.”

“The day went like clockwork and although we know we have a lot of support from families, it was just fantastic for the residents and the staff, to see how many people turned up.”
