The 12 most expensive streets in West Yorkshire over the past decade

If you are looking for a top-end home, these are the most expensive streets in West Yorkshire.

New data has revealed the most expensive roads in the county between 2010 and 2020, by average house price, with roads in and around Wetherby dominating the top of the list.

Homes on Linton Lane, Linton, Wetherby, sold for an average of £1.7 million over the decade, ahead of The Acres, Linton, which took second spot after fetching an average price of £1.61m.

Roads in Wakefield and Holmfirth were the only non LS postcodes in West Yorkshire’s top 10, with houses selling for an average of £1.5m and £1.36m, respectively.

The list has been compiled by house price valuation specialists Mouseprice, part of PropertyHeads, a property portal and social network.

It found that homes across Yorkshire sold for an average of £189,736 over the period, with sales averaging £180,359 in West Yorkshire.

Ben Davis, PropertyHeads founder and chief executive officer, said: “Yorkshire’s property market is one of the most diverse in the country and our research served as further evidence of that.

“Like many locations across the country, Yorkshire was in the middle of what was a crazy decade for the property market and one which will be remembered for its eye-watering house prices.”
