HoUSEbuilder Ben Bailey Homes is celebrating after being awarded the maximum five stars for customer satisfaction and five stars for customer recommendation by industry body the Home Builders Federation (HBF).

More than 23,000 new home-buyers across the country took part in the seventh annual HBF survey which asks people what they think of the quality of their new property and if they would recommend the builder to a friend.

Ben Bailey Homes achieved an overall score of more than 90 per cent in the survey to achieve the highly prestigious five-star rating.

The results of the survey were also supported and analysed by the National House Building Council (NHBC), which is the standards setter for the UK house building industry.

Commenting on the award, Mark Mitchell, Ben Bailey Homes’ managing director, said: “We are incredibly proud to have received a five-star rating from the HBF. We work extremely hard to ensure the quality of our product and our levels of customer service are of the highest standard, so this accolade is testimony to the ability and dedication of everyone at Ben Bailey Homes.

“However, we will not rest on our laurels and we will be doing everything we can to ensure that we maintain our five star status by continuing to deliver great properties in sought after locations. This award coincides with an exciting start to 2012 which has seen our new specification receiving a fantastic response from homebuyers. It has enabled us to generate a great deal of momentum for our business and we are looking forward to opening many new developments across the region over the coming months.”

Ben Bailey Homes’ new specification – which is now being rolled out across a number of developments- arose from extensive market research.

This involved a 12 month strategic review by the company’s senior management team of the new homebuilding sector to ensure that the business differentiates itself ahead of the competition.

This process has ensured the developer’s latest specification not only provides an enhanced combination of form and functionality but that it is also extremely stylish and includes many items highlighted by those in the market looking to purchase a new home.

The new specification includes a choice of fully fitted kitchens by Manhattan Kitchens. The kitchens are intelligently arranged with soft close doors and integrated appliances - including fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob and hood - while the kitchen units offer innovative additional storage space as required by today’s modern lifestyles.

Bathrooms feature stylish sanitaryware and luxurious baths with concealed bath fillers. En-suites now offer contemporary showers with attractive brassware as well as useful storage solutions, chrome-heated towel rails and high quality tiling by Porcelanosa.

There is a choice of internal doors throughout the homes, which are bespoke and complemented by unique Italian-designed door furniture, while master bedrooms also benefit from a choice of impressive contemporary fitted wardrobes that have sliding doors to maximise space and storage.

Mark Mitchell concluded: “All this is included as part of our standard specification going forward. We believe that our new specification will only further enhance our rating as a five star developer.”

Ben Bailey Homes’ Lofthouse Park development in Wakefield comprises an impressive range of three- and four-bedroom homes, with prices starting from £179,950 for a three-bedroom semi-detached home with two parking spaces to £197,950 for a four-bedroom semi-detached home with a garage.
