June 2 (Spring bank holiday)

June 3 (Platinum Jubilee bank holiday)

August 29 (Summer bank holiday)

December 26 (Boxing Day)

December 27 (Christmas Day substitute)

When is the best time to book annual leave?

If you are able to book off April 25-29 you will end up with 10 days off in a row, by using only five days of your annual leave.

Taking annual leave on May 30 and 31, as well as June 1, will mean you will be off work for nine days but using only three of your holiday allowance.

Workers who book time off from August 30 to September 2 will get a nine day break too.

Christmas falls on a Sunday and so this year the bank holidays are on Monday, December 26 and Tuesday, December 27.

By booking December 28-30 off you can get 10 days off in a row from December 24 - January 2 2023.

These days will be very popular annual leave dates amongst your colleagues, so it is important to bear in mind that you will have some competition when choosing these as your days off.
