Anti-fascist group to hold city rally
Members of SUPR are to meet at the Bullring at 11am on Saturday, where they intend to hold a ‘street party’ with music, food, speakers, poetry and singing.
A spokesman for the group said: “It is important more than ever that our proudly multicultural and multi-faith city continues to stand united against race hate.”

Hide AdThe National Front is yet to announce details of its protest, but says it will be marching against ‘grooming gangs’.
They have marched through Wakefield before, including 2015, when 96 people took part.
An anti-fascist group also demonstrated on the same day and the day went off peacefully with no arrests.
