Appeal to find man who urinated in Leeds station barrier machine

Police are appealing for help in tracing a man who urinated into a barrier machine at Leeds railway station.

British Transport Police have relesaed a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place on Sunday, November 10 at around 10.45pm.

Investigating officer PC Derek Woolley said: “The man approached the barriers to the public toilets on the main concourse at the station. He then exposed himself and urinated into the coin slot in the barrier machine.

“Due to his actions the barrier malfunctioned and a new coin mechanism, costing £300, has to be installed.

“We believe the man may reside in the Wakefield area. If you recognise him please contact us.”
