Appeal to find '˜vulnerable' man missing from home

Police in Wakefield are appealing for information to trace a vulnerable man missing from home.

Paul Dews from Ossett is known to have contacts in Dewsbury and Mirfield.

Paul Dews, 38, was last seen near Ouchthorpe Lane yesterday afternoon (Monday) around 1.20pm.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 10ins and of slim build. He has a shaved head with a distinctive triangle pattern and was last seen wearing light coloured jeans and a white shirt.

Paul is from the Ossett area and is known to have contacts across Wakefield. He is also known to have contacts in the Dewsbury and Mirfield area’s of Kirklees.

Det Insp Dave Watts of Wakefield CID said; “We are growing concerned for Paul’s welfare and would appeal to anyone who has seen him, or heard from him since yesterday lunchtime, or who may know where he is now to get in contact.

“I’d also appeal to Paul directly to get in touch with police to let us know that he’s OK.”
