A FAMILY escaped from their home after arsonists posted a lit piece of paper through their letterbox and torched it.
Four children were asleep upstairs when the fire broke out in Agbrigg shortly after 11pm on Wednesday.
It was quickly put out by the occupier, but police are now on the hunt for those responsible.
