Arsonists strike at park
Firefighters were called to the scene just off Ferrybridge Road at around 8.30pm last night (Monday).
Crews from Castleford, Normanton and Garforth spent two hours dealing with the blaze.

Hide AdDaryl Schofield, watch commander at Castleford, said the fire was the third arson attack in three days at the park.
He said: “There has been a series of fires in the park over the past few days and we do have an arson issue there.
“The last three fires have been extremely hard work and they are just a complete waste of time and resources.”
