The event has been organised by the Denby Dale District Lions to raise funds for Wakefield Hospice and the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, which supports youngsters across Wakefield, Kirklees and Calderdale.

The event will take place at Ossett Town Hall from 7pm to midnight on Friday, February 19, and Saturday 20.

There will be at least 36 hand pumped beers, many from Yorkshire, as well as live entertainment from 6 Months in Mexico on Friday and Chicago Joe and the Soul Divas on Saturday.

The festival has been sponsored by Ossett Brewery and Wakefield Council. The beers have also been sponsored by various companies and organisations. It is the fourth event organised by the lions to raise cash for charity. In 2014, more than 800 people attended, raising almost £9,000 for the two hospices.

Entry costs £6 and includes a commemorative glass.

Tickets are available on the door or from Ossett DIY Centre on 01924 273674.
