Blues weekend to launch in Wakefield
KT’s Rhythm & Blues Festival is now in its tenth year and brings with it a combination of rock and music from the southern states of America.
The events are free and take place across four venues in the city.

Hide AdPresented by Wakefield Music Collective, the event kicks off tonight, Friday, November 11, with Thieving Lloyd Cole playing at The Bull and Fairhouse on George Street at 9pm.
Tomorrow will see Rollin Chain play at Wakefield Beer Exchange on the Bull Ring from 3pm, before Chris King Robinson takes to the stage at Fernandes Brewery Tap, off Lower Kirkgate.
On Sunday, there will be a guitar demonstration with Mick Shaw at Trad Music on Lower Warrengate at 2pm then Bessie’s Blues, Big City Blues Band and Hooby and the Yabbit will perform at Fernandes Brewery Tap.
