Supermarket giant Asda has cut the price of its fuel by 2p.

From tomorrow drivers filling up at the Durkar superstore will pay 126.7p per litre on unleaded and 133.7p per litre on diesel.

The new prices are the lowest since July 2012.

Andy Peake, Asda’s Petrol Trading Director said: “With the latest price cut we’re now seeing the lowest price on diesel since July 2012. We’ve quickly passed on the latest reductions in costs which is great news for motorists, particularly with household budgets so stretched after Christmas.”
