Four candidates hoping to become the next leader of the UK Independence Party took part in a hustings debate.
Phillip Broughton, Coun Lisa Duffy, Bill Etheridge MEP and Jonathan Arnott MEP gave speeches and took questions at Unity Works on Wednesday evening.
They are hoping to be voted in to replace Nigel Farage to lead the party.
Nathan Garbutt, chairman and parliamentary candidate for UKIP Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford, said: “I am supporting Councillor Lisa Duffy, Lisa was previously party director and I have known her for many years.
“Can I offer my best wishes to all the leadership candidates, on their shoulders will now rest the responsibility of bringing UKIP together and demonstrating what the party has to offer to the British electorate.”
Dianne James MEP and Elizabeth Jones are also standing in the leadership election.
UKIP said around 80 members attended the hustings.
