Castleford man charged with sexual offences against children
A 29-year-old man has been charged with sexual offences against children following a series of incidents in the Castleford area.
Samuel Smith, of Greek Street, Castleford, appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court this morning charged with with six offences of sexually assaulting a girl aged under 13 years by touching in relation to alleged offences committed in the Castleford area on May 30, May 31 and June 1.
He has also been charged with an offence of sexually assaulting a girl aged under 13 years by touching in relation to an alleged offence carried out in the Leeds area in March earlier this year.
Smith has also been charged with making and possessing indecent images of children.
He will appear now appear at Leeds Crown Court later this month.
