Three children had to be taken to hospital after an aerosol can exploded as they sat around a fire in woodland.
The 12-year-old boys were in woodland area around Queens Park at 4.50pm today (Monday) when the accident happened.
Wakefield firefighters were called to the scene as the boys suffered minor burns to their hands and faces.
Paramedics attended and treated the trio before taking them to Pinderfields Hospital.
