Children’s artwork will be on the front of police Christmas cards

Budding young artists could see their festive work on the front of a West Yorkshire Police Christmas card.

The force has launched a competition for children aged 12 and under to hand draw the design for the card.

The theme is ‘staying safe at Christmas’.

As well as seeing their creation printed, the winner will also get to tour the police’s Carr Gate complex including seeing the National Police Air Service helicopter, the horses in the Mounted Section and the firearms and public order training areas.
