NEW LIFE COMMUNITY CHURCH: At the first monthly meeting of the New Life in the Community Church held last month at the Kettlethorpe Community Centre, 80 people of all ages worshipped together at the start of what we hope will be, a significant church serving people on the estate. Young and old listened to the incredible Gospel message shared through mime, magic and music as well as stories of how a blind woman’s sight was restored, how a local teacher found purpose and of how Jesus had changed the life of one of the Revolution youth group. The second service will be held on Sunday, November 13 from 5pm to 6pm and features the Revolution Youth Group Dance team, the magic and message of Jonathan Robinson, the story of Jon’s dad restored to health from death’s door, the wonderful voice of ex-Kettlethorpe resident Paul Whitfield, and the New Life worship band. This is an opportunity to experience a vibrant and exciting new church, to make new friends and discover a fresh hope and purpose for your life. Admission and refreshments are free.
