OSSETT NEIGHBOURHOOD PACT MEETING: Will take place on Tuesday, October 4 from 7pm to 8pm at Broadowler Stores, Broadowler Estate, Ossett.

TRINITY CHURCH: Sunday, September 18 communion at 11am. Kids’ Club (ages four to 12) and creche (up to age four) will restart in the parish centre. ELIZABETHANS: Tickets are now on sale at Cakes and Favours, Town End, Ossett, for This Thing Called Love, at Ossett Town Hall by The Elizabethans on Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 15 at 7.15pm. 

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR: The Elizabethans holds its annual fair at Ossett Town Hall on Saturday, October 29 from 10am to 1.30pm. There are still a few table left which can be booked by  e-mailing  for details.

WAKEFIELD FC UNDER 11s: Is looking for new players, boys and girls, for the new season starting in September. Training in Thornes Park on a Monday between 7 and 8pm, with a level two coach. Contact David on 07831 262870.

HOME GROWN HORBURY: Regular Get Growing sessions for anyone who’d like to get involved in growing their own fruit and vegetables, every Friday and the first Sunday in each month from 10am to around lunch time at one of its community allotment sites in Horbury and Ossett. CROFTLANDS, NEW STREET: Regular coffee mornings Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 10.15am to 11.15am. Boccia bowls and gentle exercise to music every Monday.
