All emergency services on M62 after car flips onto roof in West Yorkshire - drivers warned to avoid area

All emergency services are at the scene of a crash on the M62 after a car flipped onto its roof.

West Yorkshire Police said they had received multiple calls about the accident on the M62 J32 Westbound for Ferrybridge.

In a tweet, the contact management centre said: "Receiving multiple calls for a serious road traffic collision on #M62 near junction 32 for #Ferrybridge.

"All emergency services are attending as reports that a vehicle is on its roof.

"May be worth finding an alternative route.

"This is West bound. #DriveSafe and log 173 refers."

Drivers have been urged to find an alternative route.

Snow across West Yorkshire is causing traffic chaos this morning.

Drivers have been told to allow extra time to travel and be careful of conditions, making only urgent travel if necessary.
