Calls to identify city centre graffiti yob
A community leader is calling on the public to identify a graffiti artist who has been spraying a distinctive tag across the city centre.
The painting, which looks like a cat, has appeared in several places in recent weeks, including the court house on Wood Street, Wakefield One and an archway at Westmoreland Street.
And Wakefield Bid's director Christine Armstrong is seeking information as to who is leaving the unsightly mess.
She said: "We are working hard to get rid of graffiti and this one but this one keeps appearing.
"He should be made to clean it off himself, whoever is doing it."
