Detectives appeal for information to trace owners of jewellery

Wakefield CID would like to speak to anyone who may recognise the jewellery and a jewellery box which were recovered in Castleford earlier this month as part of an ongoing enquiry into burglary offences in West Yorkshire.

Officers believe the items may have been stolen and are now seeking to trace the rightful owners.

PC Steve Sayles, of Wakefield CID, said: “We are working to trace the owners of this jewellery which was recovered recently and would like to speak to anyone who has information.

“Although the items were recovered from Castleford it could have from anywhere in West Yorkshire.”
