Police carried out a ‘dusk raid’ in Lupset on Sunday night.

Cannabis worth £2,000 and a large amount of money were recovered from a house.

At the same time another raid was carried out in Ossett during the co-ordinated operation between the Central and North West neighbourhood police teams (NPT).

Two adults were arrested in Lupset and both were released on bail.

PC Tinker of the Central NPT said; “A lot of people may think that cannabis is ‘harmless’ but it’s a very potent Class B drug and still illegal. We will continue to tackle the blight of drugs on our streets and seize the assets of those living beyond their means from crime.”

The investigation is ongoing.
