Police attended an address on at White Horse Yard at about 3.46pm on Sunday and uncovered the factory.

Several hundred plants were recovered and the 28-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences. He was due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court today.

Police said that evidence at the scene linked the cultivation to serious organised crime. The building was also deemed to be a fire risk, which has now been made safe.
