A judge has bailed two men accused of wounding a teenager in an Ossett pub.

Craig Redfearn and Luke Wright are charged with causing grievous bodily harm to Callum Fox-Barker, 18, in the Tawny Owl pub on Prospect Road shortly before midnight on Friday, March 27.

Wakefield Magistrates’ Court heard how Mr Fox-Barker, was knocked unconscious and suffered serious injuries.

He was hospitalised but is now conscious and doctors are assessing him.

Redfearn, 23, of Dewsbury Road, Lupset, and Wright, 20, of Chantry Road, Lupset, appeared before Wakefield Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with GBH.

Neither entered a plea and they spoke only to confirm their personal details.

Solicitors Khaleeq Zaman, for Wright, and Mike Devlin, for Redfearn, both applied for bail.

District Judge Adrian Lower granted both men conditional bail and committed the case to Leeds Crown Court for trial.
