Missing Barnsley man could be in Wakefield

Police believe a man who was reported missing on Tuesday could be in the Wakefield area.

James Stephenson, 40, was last seen at 10.15am when he left the Cambian Oaks Hospital on Sheffield Road in Barnsley.

He told staff he was going to Huddersfield to do some shopping but he never returned.

Since then he has been seen getting on a train in Leeds and getting off at London King Cross.

Police investigating his disappearance say he is known to visit Wakefield regularly.

Mr Stephenson has ginger hair and is 5ft 8ins tall. He was last seen wearing a dark overcoat with a grey hooded top underneath and jeans.
