Missing girls last seen at Wakefield Bus Station

Police are searching for two teenage school girls who were last seen at Wakefield Bus Station.

Gemma Randall and Bethany Knapton, both 15, were reported missing by their families on Tuesday.

Last night they were spotted on CCTV cameras at the Union Street bus station at 10.31pm.

A police spokesman said officers were becoming increasingly concerned for the girls’ welfare and believe they may still be in the Wakefield area.

Gemma is slim , 5ft 5ins tall with long light brown hair which could be worn in a ponytail.

She was wearing a Holmfirth High School uniform of a black jumper, black trousers, a white shirt and black Nike trainers.

She was also wearing a blue Adidas hooded top, a burgundy body warmer and a pink drawstring bag.

Bethany is of medium build with long, dark hair.

She was also wearing a Holmfirth High School uniform of a black jumper with a black pleated skirt, black tights, a white shirt, black pumps and a black quilted jacket.

She was also carrying a brown, fake Louis Vuitton bag.

Gemma is from Meltham and Bethany is from Holmfirth.
