Police have released a CCTV image of a man who urinated into a barrier machine at a train station.

Officers believe the man, who caused £300 worth of damage, could be from Wakefield.

It happened at 10.45pm on Sunday, November 10, at Leeds Railway Station.

Investigating officer, PC Derek Woolley of British Transport Police, said: “The man approached the barriers to the public toilets on the main concourse at the station. He then exposed himself and urinated into the coin slot in the barrier machine.

“Due to his actions the barrier malfunctioned and a new coin mechanism, costing £300, has to be installed.

“We believe the man may reside in the Wakefield area. If you recognise him please contact us.”
