Wakefield CID have issued a witness appeal following the robbery at the Asda on Leeds Road in Glashoughton at 7.32am this morning (Thursday).

Two men assaulted a member of security staff, who is believed to have been delivering money, outside the store and made off with what police have said is a “substantial amount of cash”.

The men were both masked and made off in a black Peugeot car.
