Suspected arson attack on Denby Dale house

A suspected arson attack caused extensive damage to a house in Denby Dale.

Firefighters were called to a property on Bromley Bank overnight on Saturday, January 10.

The occupants were in the house at the time of the fire, which damaged the garden shed, fence and the house.

PC Kirsten Ford, of Huddersfield CID, said: “This fire caused extensive damage to the garden and fences and it was lucky that it did not spread to other properties.”

Police are now appealing for witnesses.
