A closure order was issued for Valley Venyou, on Southgate, earlier this week, after an application by West Yorkshire Police.

According to the order, made under Section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, Leeds Magistrates' Court was satisfied that "offensive or criminal behaviour" had been, or was likely to be, carried out on the premises, and that the use of the premises had resulted in, or was likely to result in, "serious nuisance" to members of the public.
