Cyclist dies following crash with car on A650

A black Vauxhall Corsa collided with the cyclist on the A650 at Tingley at 4pm on Monday, January 5.

The 47-year-old man has now died from his injuries, a police spokesman said.

Sgt Ann Drury, of the Major Collision Enquiry Team, said: “This happened at a busy time of day. I would appeal to any witnesses who saw the pedal cycle or the vehicle before the collision or the collision itself who haven’t yet come forward to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team on 101.”
