‘Dangerous’ industrial high-pressure washers stolen from Knottingley firm
Thieves removed panelling from the side of a firm on Weeland Road before making off with 52 high-powered washers worth more than £148,000.
Police said the machines were stolen some time between 5.30pm on Monday, October 6 and 7.20am on Tuesday, October 7.

Hide AdDet Con Chris Cooper, from Wakefield CID, said: “These pressure washers are for industrial use, and shouldn’t be used for domestic purposes. If used in the wrong way and without the correct training they can potentially be dangerous to the user.
“As more than 50 washers were stolen a large vehicle, possibly a HGV, could have been used to carry the washers off.
“If put up for sale, these machines will be very distinctive and expensive. I am appealing for anyone who may know who’s behind this, may have seen it happening, or who has any information to contact me.
“Also, anyone who is offered these washers to buy or sees them on sale, can contact me at Wakefield CID on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

- 11 Ehrle Etronic 1 Hotwater Single Phase - Model HD623
- 15 Ehrle Etronic 2 Hotwater Single Phase - Model HD723
- 18 Ehrle Etronic 2 Hotwater Three Phase - Model HD1140
