Dr Ranj at Wakefield's Trinity Walk Christmas Lights Switch On 2018

Dr Ranj, best known for his appearances on Strictly Come Dancing and CBeebies' Get Well Soon, made an appearance in Wakefield to switch on the Christmas lights at Trinity Walk Shopping Centre last week.

Dr Ranj was joined on stage by teddy bears of all shapes and sizes.
Father Christmas himself made an appearance at the lights switch on on Thursday evening.
Dr Ranj showed off some of the moves that got him to the sixth week of Strictly Come Dancing.
He ended the energetic performance with a big smile for the crowd
The event included an appearance from the Uglies, from the Theatre Royal's production of Cinderella.
The Uglies came prepared, with water pistols and a bucket of sweets.
As part of his Teddy Bear Hospital, Dr Ranj helped characters with their aching muscles.
Dr Ranj joined Santa to turn on the Christmas lights.
