Bob Guard, who helps organises the event for Wakefield Chantry and Huddersfield Rotary Clubs, said: “This is a great day out for all of the family. This year there will also be a Dragon Ride for younger children – on dry land of course. And the Pugneys Light Railway will be running. Also many of the charities who have entered the event will have activities on their team pitches so lots to see and do for all visitors.

“The Wakefield District Neighbourhood Policing Team will also be on site with a police vehicle and equipment that children can interact with.”
