Six more acts from TV’s X Factor and the Voice have been announced for this year’s Party @ Haw Hill Park in Normanton.
The Voice 2015 semi-finalist Joe Woolford and Liss Jones, who made it through to the knockouts, will perform at the family concert from 4pm to 9pm on Saturday, July 11, along with Luciee Closier from the 2014 series. Bre Musiq, Kerrianne Covell and Lydia Lucy, who have all starred in X Factor, will also appear.
Other new acts that were announced last month include male acoustic trio North Road and Leeds four-piece pop and rock band Victors.
The Voice contestant Jade Hewitt, female vocalist Charley Monroe and Britain’s Got Talent stars Sweetchix were already confirmed.
The event, organised by Normanton Town Council, will also have children’s rides, stalls and refreshments.
This year will be the third time the council has organised the free annual event.
Last year’s concert featured X Factor 2013 contestant Carolynne Poole, from Leeds, joined by 2012 contestant Sam Callahan, as well as The Voice’s Joe Keegan and Georgia Harrup, from Huddersfield. The concert was compered by Castleford duo Bruvvas Blue, a Blues Brothers.
