Family fun at annual summer gala
Families enjoyed the annual Stanley Gala last weekend.
Stanley Residents Group and miners pension campaigners were among those who turned out with stalls on Sunday.
The event in Lime Pit Lane included a beer tent, tug of war, dancing and a dog competition.
Stanley councillor Matthew Morley said on Facebook: “Fantastic turnout for Stanley Gala good to see the local community coming together.”
